Embraced

This is a Golden Butterfly that I found licking the window. I caught him and took this picture. I really like this picture cause his whole body was in focus.

Sporadic Jumper

Now the reason I called this photo "Sporadic Jumper" is because this frog just would not stand still not even for a couple seconds. I had to spare five minutes just to catch him, he could easily jump three feet in one jump. After about fifteen minutes I managed to take this picture.

Staring Into The Iris

Now this is a frog that I stumbled across one day and just had to take some pictures of him. He's actually standing on a flower stalk. He got used to me after a while and just stayed there for seconds on end just staring at the iris of the camera, probably wondering what it was.

Hanging From Above

Now this is a picture of a Jumping Spider, I just absolutely love how this picture came out so well. The camera was 6mm away from it's face which is less then half an inch. I never realized how good my macro was on my camera until I took this picture. The spider was actually in a red bucket when I took this picture and I had a flashlight pointing at it to make some lighting.

Twit Laying Down On The Job

Now this is another picture of Twit, this was right after I fed him a very large grasshopper. I guess he felt bloated and sat down for about fifteen minutes or so.

Twit The Bird

This is Twit the bird, I found him wounded one day in my front yard. I caught him and put him in a bucket taking him out and feeding him grass hoppers occasionally. I had him for about 24 hours until he got better and could fly again. I took this picture before I let him go. I'm thinking he is a Finch but I'm not completely sure.

Icy Birdie

I was never able to figure out what kind of bird this was. I leaned toward thinking it was a Warbler but never found out for sure. I really like this picture cause of the ice cycles hanging off of the tree branches and so forth.

Big Fat Yellow Bird

This bird was particularly funny to watch as it waddled around looking for worms and other things to munch on.

Eastern Bluebird

I personally absolutely love this picture, the ice sickles on the barb wire adds a nice touch to the whole field of the picture.

Marsh Wren

This a a marsh wren that I found on my back porch, it actually made a nest in an old pile of wood underneath the porch. I saw it almost every day hopping around looking for worms and carrying hay and straw for a nest.

American Robin

This is an American Robin, I stalked this bird for about thirty minutes so that it would get used to me and let me get closer to it, I was able to get less then four feet away from this bird and take this picture.

Blue Jay

Now this is a Blue Jay, I don't really have much to say about this picture except that I like the way how he's standing up so straight and gallant.

Female Cardinal

This is a picture I took last winter of a Female Cardinal. I like this picture mainly cause there was a red ribbon hanging on the tree the bird is standing on, and she was staring at the ribbon for over five minutes, probably thinking it was a Male Cardinal.

Tufted Titmouse

This is a picture I took last winter, as you can see there is snow in the background. The bird is hanging on a pine cone filled with bird seed and vegetable shortening.
